Homework for Monday, 17 September

Hi, my dearest 9th graders!

Here's the homework for you:

1) Complete vocabulary test here: http://cdextras.cambridge.org/Readers/RPT_last.swf (at least Upper Intermediate Level) and post your results here as a comment.

2) Remember the rules of Present Perfect and compose a poem. Here's an example written by a 13-year-old student (you could use more rhymes):

Have you ever met Tina Turner?
Have you ever travveled to New York?
Have you ever interviewed a football star?
I haven't but I think I'd like to.

Have you ever seen a green dog?
Have you ever bitten the neighbour's dog?
Have you ever been a teacher?
I haven't and I don't think I'd like to.

- you can use this poem as an example, or you can choose to write in a completely different style. The only rule is - use Present Perfect ;)

Keep checking the blog and comment on our friend's works. I might compose something, too )))

Hi, my dearest 9th graders! Or, Year 9, as they would say in Great Britain :) Hi anyway ))

I would like to keep this blog for us to:
- know each other better
- have some fun with English outside our classroom (our lessons are so not enough!)
- learn English and become advanced

I believe we can fly ;))
